Multi-metal Protection: There are three ways to obtain protection on metals other than copper with COBRATEC® products. CO 928, 911S, 926, 948 - Aluminum Steel and Copper The premier triazole products for multi-metal protection are COBRATEC® 928, COBRATEC® 926, COBRATEC® 948 and COBRATEC® 911S. These products are effective in a variety of applications to protect aluminum and steel in addition to copper and copper alloys (brass, bronze), silver and cobalt.      Metal quenching with COBRATEC 928 Copper and Pitting Control COBRATEC® products tie up copper ions. This eliminates copper deposition on other metals such as steel and aluminum, thereby preventing catastrophic failures caused by localized copper-initiated pitting corrosion. Synergism COBRATEC® 99 and COBRATEC® TT100 are active in multi-metal protection because they are synergistic with other corrosion inhibitors, as shown below:
