Metal treatment

COBRATEC corrosion inhibitors are widely used in metal treatment to protect copper and high copper alloys from oxidation. Without metal treatment by COBRATEC, those metals will tarnish and oxidize readily. Metal treatment is used to protect metals between processing steps, during storage, and for protection from air.

Typical metal treatment applications include printed circuit boards between processing steps, copper wires before applying coatings, and in coating formulas to protect decorative metals on the outside of buildings.
