Metal protection

COBRATEC products provide metal protection for a wide range of commonly used metals. This metal protection is a protective coating on copper, brass, aluminum, silver, cobalt, and zinc. Metal protection is also provided to other metals including steel and magnesium when the COBRATEC products are combined with other effective corrosion inhibitors.

In addition, copper, when allowed to dissolve, is a highly corrosive material to other metals with the potential to cause pitting corrosion. Therefore, another important form of metal protection provided by COBRATEC products is preventing copper-initiated pitting corrosion by tying up copper and preventing it from being in solution.
