Corrosion prevention

COBRATEC products are ideal for corrosion prevention. They are especially effective in providing corrosion prevention for copper and high copper alloys. In treating water used in cooling towers, COBRATEC is effective at levels of only 2-3 ppm to provide corrosion prevention for those metals.

Corrosion prevention is also delivered for a number of other metals including cobalt (useful in metal working fluid applications), aluminum, zinc, and steel. Some of this corrosion prevention requires the use of COBRATEC products in combination with other effective corrosion inhibitors including amines, amine salts of dicarboxylic acids, and phosphonates.
