Corrosion control

COBRATEC corrosion inhibitors deliver corrosion control for a variety of metals including copper, brass, aluminum, cobalt, silver, zinc and steel. Corrosion control is provided by a protective film, which forms on the surface of the metals. COBRATEC 99, benzotriazole, and COBRATEC TT-100, tolyltriazole are our two most widely used corrosion control products.

COBRATEC TT-100 provides corrosion control for automobile radiators, cooling water towers, and metal working fluids. Applications for COBRATEC - 99 include corrosion control for copper and brass stock during handling and storage and between processing steps.
